Board Members visit Ghana

On January 22nd, four board members of AidNAction will be taking a 12 day trip to Ghana, West Africa. They will be in country for 10 days, returning back to the U.S. on February 2nd.

Abuakuwa School Need

The people of Abuakuwa have appealed to AIDNACTION GHANA for assistance in repairing their school.  Every area of the school needs assistance: physical walls, structural repair, desks and chairs for students, etc.  The most immediate need is roof and wall repair.

Education is important to every child.  The children risk the possibility of the roof or wall collapsing to receive an education.  The school doesn’t have enough chairs for every student to sit down so some stand or sit on the edge of the homemade desks.  AIDNACTION GHANA would love to be able to improve the conditions at the school.

Would you like to help make these students have a safe environment to study and learn?  Noah Mends provided a list of items they need to buy to rebuild the school.  He needs approximately 100 bags of cement; 15 “packets” of aluminum roof sheeting; with nails and other supplies totals approximately $3,000.
